Our History
We started as a partnership-based firm in 1935; however, in 1956, we became a private limited company. Our beginnings may be traced back to the trading activities of our founder, the late Sheikh Gulamally Shamsuddin Tambawala. He traded precious and non-ferrous metals. He was a man of impeccable business intelligence, integrity, and vision who played an important role in the formation of the Metal Exchange Association in 1933 and served as its first president.
